Cotopaxi is an active stratovolcano with an altitude of 5,897 m. The last eruption was August 2015. Fantastic views, an amazing experience.
Quilotoa is a water-filled caldera and the most western volcano in the Ecuadorian Andes. The 3 km wide caldera was formed by the collapse of this volcano about 600 years ago.
